Establishment of Automated Testing Stations in Regional and Sub-Regional Offices

To prevent the road accidents due to technical fault in vehicle and to strengthen the facility of inspection of Vehicles before issuance of the fitness certificate, it is decided to establish Automated testing stations in Public and Private Sector across the state.

Presently, Automated testing stations are operational at following locations in Private Sector:-

1. Doiwala (Dehradun)
2. Vikasnagar (Selaqui, Dehradun)
3. Haridwar
4. Roorkee (Haridwar)
5. Tanakpur (Champawat)
6. Haldwani (Nainital)
7. Rudrapur (Udham Singh Nagar)

Presently, Automated testing stations are under construction at following locations in Government Sector:-

1. Rishikesh (Dehradun)
2. Kotdwar (Pauri)
3. Uttarkashi
4. Pauri
5. Pithoragarh
6. Almora
